What do you do about comments that aren't in the language that your blog is written about?

Can't say it's a real problem for me, but if I did I would not approve it as it is likely spam. If it isn't spam, it's not benefiting the general readership so to be safe just wipe it out.

The only ones I get in other languages are clearly spam. I run them through an automatic translator if I'm not sure, but generally they look like spam (multiple links, etc), and I treat them as such.

I agree they are predominantly spam. They are put there by robots or people paid very little per post. They don't even read the content. I have so much spam on my blog I can't have comments open or I"d have 25 spammy ones a day.

As J mentioned though if it looks legit I will run it through a translator but my spidey spam sense is normally enough
