WordPress Preview

I was just wondering if anyone knew of a way to make my blog so that it only shows a preview of the post on the main page and then the visitor has to click into the post? I really like the LifeHacker blog style. Is there maybe just a setting I have to tweak or would this be a different template all together?

Yes it has to do with the template. Some wordpress themes do this and some do not. So you will need to change your wordpress theme to make this happen.

So do I just have to search until I find one or is that type of template called something in particular? Is there some term I could search for to find templates like that?

Yes, there is a way of doing it. If you add insert a more tag, If you are on your post the button is in the menu bar its a white box with a doted line though it.
