Its a good article but he assumes to much and starts out with writing content. I think that setting up navigation is key and widgets, rss, theme choices, anti-spam, comment system...etc

I'm sure it'll be a very helpful series. Personally, I've never been a big fan of Darren Rowse, but don't tell that to all of the Problogger addicts, heh.

Sure, you have to do that, but at that point you're not "blogging", you're programming. Blogging doesn't start until you publish content.

i'm a big fan of Darren and the Problogger site, it's top of the list when it comes to my RSS feeds.
I do agree with the above poster that maybe he should've started off with a bit on setting up the blog - even if it was a covering post to just point people in the right direction.

still, it's definately a series i'll be following
