The other thing that I feel is that if you use the word 'blog' in a title. It restricts the use of the name should you wish to change...

I prefer the 2nd one as well, actually ![]() But on the other hand... If you pick the second one it can only be a blog. The first one is more versatile |

You could always have your domainname as Monsk.net but as it's title/name have it be Monsk Blog. I like the shorter address and you would be free to use that domain name for more than just a blog, but I like names that actually indicate what a site is.

Gotta say that the first one is better for all the reasons stated above. Ease of memory, and versatile. That's the way to be!
