Starting a new blog with no scrolling -how?

Hi,

I am starting a new blog these days about digital satellite tv. One thing i dont like about blogs in general is that there is so much scrolling, its a vertical interface in many ways. So, how can i make a blog without scroll features? The reader would read the blog like a kindle, click on page links to flip pages. Has this been done?

i think it has with some templates, but then is it a blog? or more just a website?

If you are using blogger.com, go to settings, there in formatting section you can limit the no of posts to be shown. If it is changed to one, you can avoid scrolling, if the post is not that lengthy.

I think you probably could. It would be a major pain and I really don't think that users would appreciate it because they would have to do so much clicking. However it is worth a try. Basically I think you would have to make a bunch of really short posts and link them together.

One crippling aspect to keep in mind is that people have different screen resolutions and what may just fit your screen perfectly will still require scrolling on other screens. On larger screens, though, it will look like your blog is a tiny box and visitors will wonder why you didn't "fill the space".

hey i have a blogger blog also and all you have to do is change how many post you want on your page. Its under layout

Just FYI, this would annoy me and lose me as a reader. I like to be able to just tap the space bar to scroll through a blog.

i agree with chicken freak (nice name btw lol) i wouldnt do that it would enoy the hell outta me why not do a poll and see what the results are it would be interesting
