Default Getting an ad in your post.

I tried a search on the forum for this but didn't see anything.

So is there a way to get an adsense ad in your post. I would like to get a Google adsense ad in the bottom of all my posts. I tried to put in the code but it will not display?

from your blogger dashboard click layout
then click html
check the box that says Expand Widget Templates
After this section: <div class='post-footer-line post-footer-line-3'> then post your code, I also use it for my add this button

This may be sacrelige, but I'm going to say again that I find ads in posts to be incredibly off-putting, and I generally won't return the blog. I'm fine with ads in columns on the right or left, ads on top of the page, or ads on the bottom of the page. Ads in posts, I'm gone.

Good point. I have only been doing this a month but the in post ads get more clicks. I like what I am blogging about so I don't have to make a million but something would be nice and a click from adsense in the sidebar is less often than one in post.

I do get your point, inpost ads might decrease readership.

I've never seen this done before with forums.

i think if the ad is neat and tidy, its not a distraction from the blog.

It really depends I also don't like ads in the middle of the content or even at the top. It has to be separated properly.

I also think the if you do put ads in the post. Skyscaper ads on the side of the post seem to much. Just my opinion

It depends on the type of ad. For example I put Amazon.com affiliate ads in some of my posts when I am blogging about a subject which can relate well to specific products. These Amazon product ads can be nice money makers.

Nathan I actually signed up for your script, and it worked great, but I couldnt get the thing to center properly. I'm gonna fool with it some more when I put some ads back up.

Love the script though, you can pretty much target anything you want:-)
