How can I link to twitter through my blog? - Blog Forum

I'm new to blogging, and I want to know how I can add a "Follow Me on Twitter " link on my blog's homepage. I know this might be a stupid question, but I'm just not sure how to do it. Also, how can I link up my twitter account so that there are direct feeds from my blog?

Here is everything that you need to put a Follow Me on Twitter widget on your blog:

What is your blogging platform? Do you you use Google Blogger? If so then I doubt you will be able to set up direct feeds from your blog to Twitter. You'll have to post manual tweets to your blog's posts.

Yes, I use Google Blogger. I was thinking of exporting to Wordpress, though because I heard you can do multiple pages. I haven't decided, however.

Wordpress is only better if you self host, in other words pay for hosting. Otherwise there are too many restrictions, and few widgets that you can use.

You are welcome. That site has literally hundreds of different follower widgets so it is the goto site for a Twitter follower badge.

Plus you have the advantage of just being able to type in your twitter id and it generates the code automatically. All you have to do is cut and paste into your blog sidebar.

Another good idea is to add a retweet button to your posts, this will allow people to share them with their followers.

You can find how to do this through Tweetmeme.com, and there is also a new one opening up retweet.com which I haven't tried yet but am thinking of checking out. If only because they have nicer looking buttons

This is awesome thank you, I searched for this last night and didnt come up with anything.
