Some Blogger questions

I got to say after using Wordpress I'm not a fan of Blogger at all, anyway I've been using Blogger for a site (you check it out and review it here) and I have a few questions:

1. How well does Blogger cope with being Dugg or stumbled? Does the system keel or can it withstand a few thousand visitors at a time.

2. I'm unsure of the situation regarding the domain name, "example.blogspot.com" and "www.example.blogspot.com" are two possible ways of visiting that example, shouldn't there be a redirect on one of them so Google doesn't count it as two seperate sites? I know Wordpress has a plugin for this but what about Blogger?

3. When you click on "older posts" the google ads dissapear, for some reason the web address doesn't change it just stays on the home page but displays older posts. Why are the google ads disappearing and what can I do to get them back?

4. What addons/plugins would you recommend for Blogger, any must have stuff?

Hopefully some of the others with active Blogger blogs here will respond to answer some of your questions. With my personal blog there, I've never had to worry about massive traffic, don't run ads, and have always just dealt with the basic features provided.
