Did you design your own blog?

I did not make any designs with my blog sites yet. I am planning to in the future to customize it. For a moment I am using the templates available with my blog-host. What I am focus right now is to make my blog more interesting from time to time and give the viewers further information about anything I would like to share.

I designed my own blog using the Headway theme template.

Headway is an offshoot of Thesis, and is of the category of themes that don't really offer you much aesthetically to begin with but make up for that by putting a lot beneath the hood.

Definitely recommend either of the two, then let your imagination run wild!

I used blogger but I get frustrated with wanting to add something in a certain spot and not being able to do it.

So I will build my own soon.

I use Artisteer and create my own wordpress theme templates, then I add in custom functions, aditional sidebars and footer widgets.

I used Drupal - originally I used a theme but now I've pretty much mutated all the php and css to my own.

no...i dont have time....i am focused with my articles/posts...I let templates to do it for me

I have used Blogger themes so far. Then I added my own touches to them, such as a logo header and my own side additions, using Blogger's Layout function. I would love to be more of an expert (there are many here on Bloggeries) though. For one thing, I would love to have three column instead of two, and have more room in the main portion of my blogs.

But I am working on learning more about the templates that are available, and also learning more about how to change a ready-made template. I hope to learn more pointers here on Bloggeries too.
