no,i didn't design my own blog. there are many free theme out there and i just tweak a little for my own blog..

I did mine, it's really crappy right now though. I'm gonna be working on it like crazy this week.

I always start with a pre-existing template that matches what I want (it doesn't make sense not to), and then start tweaking it to make it look like what I want. Usually, the end result look pretty different from the original.

My blog is actually in the making right now. I'm in the process of trying to complete my design and get it coded for launch. I always design my own websites and blogs because that's one of the parts I find most inspiring. Hopefully soon enough I'll be able to share it with you guys. I've probably made about 3 or 4 designs so far and they end up as scraps as I keep getting new ideas. Although, the layout I'm working on now has even myself surprised for what happens next.

I'll share it with you guys as soon as it's up and running!

Also, if you want your blog to reach it's full potential, then do it! Don't let a free/paid template get in your way!

At the moment, I use Blogger, with a design from btemplates (can't link, lol, just Google it). Recently though, I bought my domain name, and will be re-teaching myself web design, and eventually teaching myself CSS, so that I can buy my own full hosting and design my own site.

Good. That is the best way to do it. When you are able to code your own template like I have you are guaranteed that it is going to be unique and is going to stand out among the rest of the blogs out there.

Currently, no. I'm using a Minimalistic Wordpress theme that I found, and is a clean/workable template to use for right not. Maybe in the future I'll design my own and get it up.

Or just tweak the one you have to make it your own, and you'll be good to go.

I've just used a standard template from blogger but have seen some great personalised blogs. Will work on that when I've mastered blogging!
