I am a really new blog (roughly 4 months old) and we are getting the majority of our traffic from Facebook Fans, from Blog Carnivals and from link referrals. I am averaging 150-180 original views a day. Stephen Todd, I love your tips to a previous poster. Will have to look into implementing them myself.        |

Well I'd definitely have to say that being a Blogger Blog of Note got me a lot of traffic back when I was on the front page. I was getting about 4,000 hits a day. Now I'm back down to 200.  |

If you happen to have a top-5 ranking for a common search term, Google will almost certainly be your top source of traffic. If not, Google's likely to deliver trivial traffic. At Vegan.com, Google's #1 by a long-shot. Facebook is also big, and Twitter is #3. After that, the drop-off is severe. My Facebook traffic surged after I created a Facebook fan page for my site. Every site should have a fan page.

Right now Facebook. Again, my blog is still new (just over a month old). Next is bloggeries (thanks!). I absolutely love my web host's statistics for my blog - it is totally addicting. I have gotten hits from all over the world and some of them are now regular viewers. I think that I am happiest with the fact that every day I have regular viewers - even when there is no new post. I know it will take time to build up my viewers, but that is fine.

My tracker tells me my own site is my main referrer to my blog... I'm not sure how that works www.invader-stu.com: 17.90% www.myboyfriendisatwat.com: 14.81% Feacebook: 7.41%
