I have not been using the title option in the blog post. I will give my post a title in the general box I type my blog. I do this so I can format color and position. My question is that is this hurting my SEO? Is my own title in the post section being indexed differently than if I actually put the title in the "title" section? When I put a title in the "title" section it always pushes my title to the left, can I center this? Thank you all for helping. Please look it over and let me know! |

Google blogger. Is that the answer to your question in means of "platform"?

You are definitely hurting your seo by not using titles. If you want your titles centered there are ways to do that, but don't put them in the body of the posts. Titles are used to generate the URL's and if you don't enter them in the title box it will really hurt your search results.

Yeah, definitely make sure you include a title in the title section and not putting your own formatted one instead. As for centering, someone else will have to help you with the specifics on that....but why do you want them centered?

It seems then that the standard header section was not used, otherwise the title should center. Or have you added a html/javascript page element at the top of your blog to use as a title section? Or a direct edit from within the template? Either way(s) you should check if your title posts (i.e. their url's) are being indexed. Check daily, by submitting your blog to Google's Webmaster tools, then go to index stats. It then displays the url's of your blog if indexed - assuming if blog submission (sometimes a site map helps) was ok...
