Just let google find you! It's a well weaved web and everything is connected. Just make sure it's not a bad / lousy neighborhood.

I think that a sitemap is a good idea, but the way that you listed on that website Ishan isn't as good as other ways of having a sitemap:

If you have less than 100 posts submit the following URL as your sitemap:

atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=100

If you have between 100 posts and 200 posts submit two sitemaps, the one listed above, and in addition the sitemap:

atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=101&max-results=100

Keep doing this for as many posts as you have. In this way Google has access to a list of all your posts. It is the best way to have sitemaps in Blogger, and very effective for improving site crawling rate and accuracy.

You don't even need to submit your blog to Google the search engines. Will find it anyway.

You can submit it if you want but you really don't need to. Its a better idea to focus on getting links. Usually a link on a popular site will result in your blog being spidered quicker.
