Statcounter is definitely great and I have both it and Analytics; I find it updates much quicker than Analytics. Both eventually update but Statcounter is quicker.

My advice would be find the code and readd it completely. That way you are sure that it is there.

I completely agree - I have used Statcounter for a few projects in the past. It integrates Google Maps with people visiting your site. It would be worthwhile to check it out. Also, it's completely free!

So it'll show you where on a google map people viewing your site are from? I likey, Analytics will show you right down to the state i think but map would be cool.

Then I'd know if other people in melbourne are viewing my blog or just me lol!

Analytics would tell you if there are others from Melbourne as well. When you're in the map area, just click the country/state name and it'll take you to a detailed view/map of that place....and then you can click into various cities from there even.

I lost my GA code when I upgraded my template in blogger. Forgot about the GA code for a few days, and had to recreate it. Perhaps you changed/upgraded your template?
