Advice on starting a review blog

Well i have a review blog (wordpress powered) in store that i plan to release pretty soon.

Just would like some suggestions on what would a good review include.

Plan to make it a paid review blog in the future, but would like to build on traffic and quality content before i start selling blog posts.

So any suggestion on what goes in making a good review blog, plugin suggestions are also welcome

Basically websites on all topics

um, review criteria, impressions, layout, content, grammar(does it make sense) do you like it yes/no, why people should visit...

Setup a way to properly review a site. You know, like what criteria and how you rank something. And make sure you have a summary. Everyone reads the summary.

The others have summed it up but always try and stay positive and avoid sarcasm. Regardless of how poorly a site scores always try and stay upbeat about it because the owner probably put alot of time and maybe even some money so no need to squash their dreams and generate resentment. Just tell them where they can improve and your impressions; you can tell someone they need major work and be totally honest while staying positive. Let your readers understand the way you see it and than decide what they think of the site themselves after they visit it.

I guess i will keep it to constructive critism..although i will only be reviewing sites that totally rock..

Just keep it civil and treat the reviewed site the way you'd like yours to be treated.

Only reviewing sites that rock helps as well .

I would also be sure to avoid reviewing too many topics at once. It would be best to pick 2-3 topics and start with those. Otherwise your blog could get too disorganized or cluttered.

Yup, that make quite a lot off sense

I guess i will be reviewing mostly free service to begin with or site that provide great opportunities for earning an online income..

Not going to touch spammy topics like loans and stuff
