Thumbs down How many Counters?

I saw a thread here where members were discussing about the 3 counters they had on their blogs!

Now, I want to ask, how much counters have you installed on your blog? Don't you think they can slow down your blog page loading times?

I use two counters because I trust Google Analytic's numbers, but I often want something more 'real time', which is what I use statcounter for. I don't think it changes loading much at all.

Our blog is in the wordpress.com domain, so we have a cut down version of Google Analytics (we think, we're not sure ). Then we have StatCounter.

I have Google Analytics and then my domain through GoDaddy came with something called Traffic Facts, which is a little more detailed. I have that live feed thingy widget but I'm not sure you'd count that?

Do your host and Analytics stats say same thing? My host stats are almost double than Analytics!

I currently have three. Google Analytics is my most used. I have one that I installed at the 'very' beginning of my blog's start, so I hate to get rid of it because it has my earliest stats. And then I was trying out another one a couple months ago, so it is still there for comparison's sake, although it's unlikely to stay.

Do you notice any slow loading issues due to counters? 3 are a lot!

They're pretty close. I think the reason they're a little different is because the one from my host also counts the visits to my website, which is my blog address, minus, the /blog, but I only have Analytics added to my blog page. But, most of my traffic only goes to the blog. So, it is close, but I trust the host one more. I just use Google for Bounce Rate, which is annoying.

And that reminds me - what's it mean when it says that someone was on the site for 0 seconds for a bounce rate of 100%? So they never came? Why is it counted? I'm confused...

There was no added difference between the two I've had for years, and the third one that I added for testing purposes.

All of my counting software is backend, so it doesn't affect loading times. I'm on proper hosting as well, so I have a good share of CPU time.
