Default Need help directing blogger to custom domain....

I have a very nice customer domain that I wish to us. Intially, I tried to transfer my own blog to hostmonster, but I must have done something wrong -- it didn't work. I think traces of this action still exist on my Hostmonster account but I don't know how to remove them.

After that, I tried to redirect by blog through blogger itself. I waited for about 48 hours, but it still wouldn't work. I reverted back to by blogspot name.

Is there something I'm not doing?

blogspot address:
goodcarsmatter.blogspot.com

custom domain:
auto tribute

Cick on my custom domain to see what remains after I attempted to put my blog on Hostmonster.

Did you change the DNS servers with your Domain registrant? You need to point the DNS servers to the new hosting provider. Sounds like they are still pointing at you old hosting provider.

I'm kinda new at this so everything you said sounds like Rocket Science to me. Can you elaborate, please?

When you purchased your Domain name you had registered it with a Domain Registrant. I use GoDaddy, just to give you an example.

Your Domain Registrant should have provided you with an Admin account so you can administrate your Domain. In your account there will be some settings for DNS nameservers. The nameservers need to point to your hosting providers DNS namesevers. If you can log into your account, you will probably find that the nameservers are pointing at you current/old hosting provider. So you need to find out what your new hosting providers DNS nameservers are and put that in your account for your Domain .

It is very simple to do and you may have to contact your hosting provider for additional help, if this doesn't make sense to you.
