I was the same way at first. Just keep posting and they will come. Have you registered with Technorati?

Mentally prepare yourself to get next to no traffic for many months. Hopefully you'll get more, but you need to assume the worst. If you think the world is going to line up to visit your site, you'll be disappointed.

The #1 factor in growing a blog is time. Period. Time.

The longer your blog is around, the more content you'll have, the more Google searches you'll show up for, the more links you'll have, the more word of mouth, etc.

There are obviously things you can do to help speed things along, but above all else you have to be patient.

Besides Technorati, you can go to Welcome to Flickr - Photo Sharing and sign up and place your photos on Flickr.

For blogging, you must always make use of a lot of different means to expose your latest post. Post a comment on related blog, and have a pingback. Submit articles on your niche.

You can go to BloggerBase and submit your blog there. But you need to write new content in order to post.

So the solution is to rewrite the post again, but shorter and direct a link to your original post directly.

There are lots of ways to open up your blog's exposure. But for now just stick to the few first.
