How do I increase my PR

There was an update last night actually. Build a great site for users rich in content and make sure other quality sites link to you. To do that build a great site. A guy I know who makes a great living online told me to spend all your time building your site instead of trying to promote it. If you build a quality site it will promote itself.

You can increase your PR by having sites link. blog comments are a good way to go.

I totally agree with bloggeries though, create a great site that you like to work on and the increase page rank will follow. Don't get to caught up on the page rank.

3 Keys to building traffic:

#1: Inbound Links (comment on posts with link signature, bookmarks on stumble/digg/delicious, get listed in blog directories, & other relevant sites linking to you.") THIS ONE is the KEY to PageRank but is only one piece in the overall picture.

#2: Quality Content

#3: Consistent Content - new post at least once a week, if your able post once per day. This will get google crawling your site more and indexing more pages for search.

There is so much more to this but when it comes down to it it's all about good consistent content that is seen as important.

Here is the nr.1 golden rule for me when it comes to running my own blog. (works the same for a website)

1. Create High Quality Content That Is Of Use For The Readers/Visitors

- If your content suck the visitors will not come back.

By providing great content they will like you more because you provided it to them. When you do this consistently they will come back again, and again.

thanks Everyone I have been working on it really really hard. My PR hasnt gone up but my ranking on google searches has for certain keywords. good stuff maybe I am on the verge to get to PR 1

1. directory submission
2. sitemap submission to search engines
3. blog link exchange
4. quality content
