Thanks, the plugin looks promising. I will have to wait til tomorrow, b/c I am at home on an old PC atm. My ftp client, passwords, etc. are on my Mac at work.

If you are familiar with FTP you could download the file footer.php and insert it there before the </body>. It will take 24-48 hours before you start seeing stats in analytics.
I just visited your site and it doesn't look like a sponsored theme with footer projection so try what I suggested up top and let us know. That is exactly what I did . If not footer you can use sidebar.php it's up to you. You just want to put it on a page that is "sitewide" meaning on every page of your blog.Rob Quote:

I'm assuming there is no body because it's an editor. Add the code at the bottom of the page in the editor. Than load your blog. Does the file look the same?
If it doesn't show up just leave it and check your analytics in 24-48 hours Please let us know what happens when you just throw it into the editor at the bottom. I always use notepad to edit these files ![]() Rob

hey Todd,
There is a BODY tag in your code... on your home page BODY opens on line 24 and closes around 246. I'm not familiar with WordPress but where ever it lets you edit your footer code using the WP backend that should be fine for inserting Google Analytics code or any other stats package for that matter. Once inserted, it will be "global". Maybe this link will help? Add Link To A Custom WordPress Footer Cheers, KiDQUiCK

Todd, KiDQUiCK is correct you can add the analytics code in the footer of a WP blog. Never had much luck with that Semiologic plugin though.
Hey KiDQUiCK thanks for posting the link to my blog Mate!

Thanks for the help, everyone! I have Analytics data this morning, so all seems to be working!
I guess the body tags just don't show up in the WP editor, as a couple of you have mentioned. ![]()
