Default Mybloglog.com Confusing

Can anyone tell me how mybloglog.com works. I can't make sense of what you are suppose to do and how to get people to your site.

MyBlogLog is a social networking site made for bloggers. You can create profiles, add contacts, etc. I don't find that I get much traffic from them. They do provide a help section. Help - MyBlogLog

The primary way you get people to your site using MyBlogLog.com is to visit their site. Everyone there is pretty good about returning visits, and I've gotten regular readers from it.

If you take it a step further and comment on their blogs, they'll generally comment on yours.

I agree with what Jay said by if you comment on their blog it will increase the likely hood of a visit and a comment. Also take a decent photo of yourself as it will appear on the widget and that can bring in traffic as well. I know I'm more likely to click on the image of a real person than someone who just posts a photo of a cartoon or some landscape.

This is not always the case at all. I belong to a few social networking sites and I have left many comments, bloggers don't always return the visit.

Sorry to hear you've had that experience! I only can report on my experiences at MyBlogLog.com, which have been positive. I'd say 90% of the bloggers who I leave comments on return the favor.

I do the same for anyone who leaves a comment on my blog, as long as I can find a post on their blog I can legitimately comment on (I don't comment just to comment).

It just struck me that we may be interacting with different audiences on MyBlogLog.com. I focus on newer blogs, those that need the comments and motivation from having readers most. That's where I see a lot of return visits.

Jay lol Most of my blog interaction comes from new bloggers. I welcome new bloggers to mybloglog all the time. I'm always willing to assist new bloggers.

Well, there you go! I thought I'd solved the great mystery, but some things aren't meant to be known.
