Default Benefits Of Having A High Page Rank

Here are some of the benefits of having a high Page Rank

* Advertiser somtimes look at Page Rank to determind
A) Should we advertise on this blog
B) How much should we pay for our advertising

* Higher Rankings in Search Engines

* Other Authority blogs might link to you if you have a
high page rank.

* Pay Per Click / Google Adwords might give you lower bids due to quality rating.

hope this helps

Default Re: Help Me Improve My Page Rank

Can you show me an advertiser who looks at page rank? I hear this myth but never actually any specifics. There is no relationship between PR and traffic. Any advertiser who does that is throwing money away. PR is about links, which does nothing for serving up ads.

PR also doesn't effect your SERP. You are confusing cause and effect. What goes into getting a good SERP will help your PR, but one doesn't cause the other.

Pagerank doesn't mean much because when it comes down to it, you don't need a PR to get Google organic traffic. PR is only good for link building but even so, you can do that outside of a pagerank.

All I can say is you should probably submit your site to some directories, social bookmarking sites, do link exchanges with similar niche blogs... I think I wrote an article last year at Simple Steps to Increase Google Page Rank | A Famous Entrepreneur In The Making l DatMoney.com if you want to check it out... it may help.
