Thanks Chrissie!

For those of you who don't know, she is reffering to:

http://blogsearch.google.com/blogsea...G=Search+Blogs

Seems like Google has made Bloggeries Blog Reviews an authority on their blogsearch.google.com. If you type in "Blog Reviews" it brings up the latest entries but even above that it says "Related Blogs" and lists 2-3 blogs that it feels have done a great job at reviews so before you browse the results you may want to check these out type of thing. We're very happy to be in the list let alone #1!

Very cool and hopefully just the beginning! Our next big goal is to get listed under Wikipedia for the term "Bloggeries".

Bloggeries is becoming a commonly used term to describe the individual blog posts within a blog. Essentially a "Blog" is the aggregate of however many bloggeries the author has written. Therefor you can refer to individual posts as a "bloggeries".

Thanks Chrissie and thanks to everyone for supporting Bloggeries. If you're reading this as a guest what are you waiting for? Sign up already and write an introduction!

No problem, Rob. Sorry, I didn't say too much about it, I didn't want to "steal your thunder" but I just HAD to say something. Again, way to GO. **clap clap clap**

I think that is how I found you guys. I was googling blog reviewers, and found you. What luck for me.

Umm...In order to get into Wikipedia, don't you have to make a submission? If I am correct, I hope you make one and get the credit you deserve.

You are correct in the assumption that you need to make a submission. As Wikipedia is overloaded with submissions similar to Dmoz I think the best thing to do is get everything in order before making the 1 submission. I need to release another press release about the change of ownership and a few other things. One thing that could DEFINATELY help our cause is next time you write a blog just once (or more) refer to the posts within your blog as "Bloggeries". By doing so when it comes time to review if they find other sitse mentioning / using the term it will increase our odds of getting accepted exponentially.

Thanks for your interest and I will keep everyone posted,
Rob

I just posted a bloggerie on my blog, KnotGypsy's Journey of Creation titled "Bloggeries and Other New Developments". Besides mentioning "bloggerie" several times and quoting your definition, I wrote a little review of my experience with Bloggeries.

Does this help?

Default Thanks for Spreading the Bloggeries Word!

Of course it helps!! Thank you very much for taking the time to write such a nice post about us. It is stuff like that which will help us get into wikipedia. When they do a search if there are tones of sites referencing it they will have no problem putting it in as an official term.

Thanks again and best of luck with your blog!

Default Most of my traffic comes from Bloggeries

Everytime I check my site in my Google Analytics, it says the same thing: Bloggeries has sent more traffic my way than any other search engine or forum.

Thanks and kudos from me as well!
