Default Apple Iphone - Is it Worth it?

Does anyone here own an Apple iPHone? I got a chance to play with one in a local social media breakfast recently. Seemed kinda cool but also very easy to break.

Do you own an iphone? Do you want an iphone? What are your opinions on the iphone?

I would as I have been waited iPhone second now nearly a year to get some bug fixes, I had need to get my staff to the market.
iPhone will be not only a phone, but your next media device so at least you could blog dircetly from your phone. because it's also a hottest market sector for application developers, the creativity goes there.
as iPhone apps could cost money there will be sufficent return for decent investments, which you could get to develop to internet where the only revenue stream for programming efforts can be Google Adsense?
So I hope that iPhone will change that issue. Which goes technically, it isn't much advanced device but I have always loved Apple's UI.

Can you change the battery by yourself?
(That's always my first question when a new gadget comes along )

It's definitely worth it. I don't believe there is any real competition for it.

Touché!

It basically comes down to 'if you've got the money, do it'. The iphone is certainly a thing of beauty and yes all the most exciting mobile apps will be developed with it in mind. However the phone plans for the iphone are never the best, this goes for everywhere where its been released. Its also going to sting when next year they come out with a shinier, spiffier version.

And like rjleaman implied, you cant change the battery yourself.

With that in mind, if you still want to go for it, do it, we'll all envy you!

Actually iPhone lacks lot of features that other phones have, like MMS (multimedia messanging to send your pictures and videos dircetly from phone), cut&paste (have apple forgotten this again?), etc. For mobile internet browsing, Opera is far far ahead from iPhone browser.

Default Iphone, Whatever

The Iphone has a sleek look and an attractive interface, other than that its a barebones smart phone. I would suggest the HTC Mogul.
Most people only want or need the cool looking thing and don't really need to access other features.
I myself need a good internet browser experience at my fingertips at all times.
That is definitely not the Iphone.
