It does brings traffics provided you write a good content and posted at the famous blog like Darren Rowse.

I think what is even better is when someone writes a post and includes your site as a recommended resource. Those tend to bring lot's of traffic.

I know I have enjoyed good exposure from guest blogging. I do think you get more clicks when you link from within the article.
If you do get a chance to guest blog, don't use a standard author bio at the end, make an express call to action and offer a freebie or something. Make the opportunity work for you ![]() |

Leave a couple of comments, link to them a few times, etc. This way you are not a complete stranger. After about a week or two, you should be able to approach them and get an answer.

It really depends on how popular the blog or site is and how big the readership is.
I guess you have to pick a blog/site that is quite popular and ask them if you can guest post on their blog... it is just getting your foot in the door as it were, if they will let you guest post on it....tricky. |
