Anyone here who doesn't blog for money??

I blog because I like to write and I also like sharing my knowledge of personal finance and business with others. I don't even have ads on my blog at this point, although I eventually plan on putting up a banner or two, but only to support the costs of web-hosting. If I never make any money off of it that'll be ok as long as I get people visiting and commenting and really getting use from my blog.

I blog for fun mostly. I barely get anything from adsense so you couldn't consider that I blog for money. I'm just trying to get some traffic right now.

When I started blogging, I didn't really know that I could earn an extra money from it. I was just doing the thing that makes me happy---writing is one of my ultimate passion. Being paid to blog is just a plus factor.

I don't blog for money. I blog because I love the topic I write about. Also, I don't get enough visitors to ask for money. I don't even have ads on my biggest forum, Talk Budgies. And if there were any website I would put ads on to make money, it would be that one. I blog (and make forums) just for enjoyment.

Not to mention I'd like to share my knowledge and tips for new cruisers on my blog. I feel everyone has the right to enjoy their vacations. So I like to help out those who are new to cruising so there are no (bad) surprises.

So do I judge the success of my blog by the amount of money I make? Of course not because I lose money on it. But as long as I help one person out with it, I feel it is a success.

The money is a bonus and not the main reason why i do it but nevertheless if it brought no advantages at all to me as a webmaster i wonder whether i would continue with my current blogging activities and i suspect i would scale it down somewhat.

I dont blog for money. If some one wanted to advertise on my blog Id be very flattered. I just started my blogs to keep people updated and to review cool things that I have tried and run into.

I do not blog for money, I blog for the enjoyment of it. If I blogged for money, I doubt I could be relaxed enough to write a humor blog.

If I placed ads on my blog, I would get ridiculed by friends and family. Add this to the fact that I'd make 14 cents a month, and it just isn't worth it.

I attempt to make people laugh. Sometime it goes well, sometimes I get the proverbial pat on the head from my wife that I'm trying really hard.
