Big wedding or small? My niece is in the process now.. quite exciting..but wow.. don't spend alot on those little giveaway things that most throw out. Go for chocolate..!

I'm thinking small... but really I don't care if it's big or small! I just want my soon to be wife to be happy so if a big wedding make her happy she can have a big wedding I mean this only happens one time so I want it to be evereything she's been dreaming of since a little girl!

I'm happy if she's happy

I wish I could say I'm happy for you.

I don't know you -- and I'm sure this is a happy occasion for you. But marriage, to me, seems rather archaic and even worse -- it's the illegal binding of two people. Why is that OK?

For the sake of discussion -- and for the sake of acting as devil's advocate (an advocacy I can really get behind) -- why do you need a piece of paper to give credibility to your relationship?

Shouldn't we want to be in a relationship with someone because we want to be -- not because we "legally" have to be?

It all seems absurd and honestly, the drop out rate doesn't surprise me one bit.
