Dumbledore was gay!

Wow, I never saw this coming. JK herself confirmed it..

I never actually considered him being gay. But now that I think about it, its so true! He never had a girl mentioned w/ him in the book besides his mother and sister, and the only major character that affected him was a guy...

I don't have a problem with this, but I'm sure a bunch of mothers just threw out the book from their little children.

I'm a big fan of the Harry Potter series and don't see what difference this announcement makes. There is nothing to spot J.K. from announcing next week that he wasn't gay and had a wife and two kids. We know so little about his past she could really say anything she liked.

The only important fact I care about is, is there going to be more books from Hogwarts with harry's kids? Seven wasn't enough, I want more

I just want to see how they play this out in the movies.

I totally thought the article you posted was a joke, but I visited Mugglenet, and you are so right. I'm sorry.

Okay that just ruins it for me..... Why would she say this after the series has ended... What the frick. That just makes me mad, I mean, I have nothing against Homosexuality or anything, but I dunno, I never thought of Dumbledore like that, and now he seems like such a creep with the hole Harry issue.

I KNOW! I thought the same thing! That whole Harry + Dumby relationship (not that it was ever a relationship) just seems kinda pervish now...

Oh, and its ok. I thought the same thing when my aunt told me.

I agree! It's not like the book has sold amazingly. But as for her telling us now, I think its best.

1. She mighta lost some audience, and we all know she loves her money
2. It would have sparked way more controversy. Because atleast now the series is over and we wont have any expanding on this trait of dumby beside all the fan fiction (which is prolly just going crazy right now)
