I use Squidoo all the time to get more visitors, subscribers or even when promoting an affiliate products. Squidoo gave me some good results.

I personally find squidoo pretty...annoying? I don't know, but I avoid Google search results from squidoo.

With that said I know several sites that have earned quality rankings in part due to a squidoo presence. These are good tips.

It can. If you create more than one lens and include links along with your content. Simply having a Squidoo page will not help much. It's all about having several high quality and content rich Squidoo lenses.

I still haven't created a Squidoo page but thanks for sharing. I will look into it. Sounds like another way to get the word out there.

This is what I don't get: Any content I can put on Squidoo I can just put on my own website. Why not have Google index the content on my site rather than another site that points to my site???

I really like squidoo. It has helped me get some traffic.
