Default Using Thanksgiving Mini-Blogfest to market my blog

Here's the post that explains what I'm doing.

In a nustshell, I'm mini-blogging my Solo-Thanksgiving via Twitter for other Solo-Dads without their kids this holiday weekend in the US.

I'll admit it hasn't been well-planned this time. Over the Christmas holidays, I'll likely do this again with more preparation. I'm going to use this as an experiment to see if blog subbies or Twitter followers increase at all.

Happy Thanksgiving all (in the US) and if you're bored, you can always follow Solo-Dad!

Sounds like an interesting experiment. You'll have to come back here and tell us the results.

Sorry you have to spend the holiday alone, but at least you've found a great way to spend it! I think it sounds great. I'd love to hear the results.

Sorry I didn't get back to report on this experiment in a timely manner. In short, it was successful. I gained new RSS subbies and Twitter followers. Since it was kind of off-the-cuff, the results weren't spectacular, but encouraging.

Here the post that talked about the results.
