Default I made it to the big time!

I've been using a service called BlogBurst for quite some time now. Basically it is sort of like an article directory. It allows you to syndicate your articles on major news websites etc. Anyway, one of my posts ended up on Reuters!

Blogburst is really starting to work for me.

So far I have gotten 336000 impressions on Reuters.com

In addition I've gotten 63000 impressions on the Chicago Sun Times and 13000 on USA today. These are the biggest sources of impressions for my blog. The clickthrough rate is not at all great, but to me its just free advertising anyway, so I don't care. Even if I just get a view clickthroughs, I'm happy.

Anyway, its interesting and I thought I'd share BlogBurst with you because it seems pretty good if you have high quality content. They are very exclusive and only accept blogs that meet their criteria, but if you can make it then you're sure to get some exposure for your blog at the very least.

hmmm...this is interesting. I wish my content was news worthy enough to post to these types of sites.

Good find. I am going to check this one out!

Yeah, its neat but I don't know exactly how useful. I guess I'll see in the long run how things turn out, but it must boost my page rank or something!

Wow that's really great, I tried to get onto their site and was denied. I guess they don't want articles about unconventional marketing or marketing ideas. I could see where they would want more trend / sport type content.

Very nice, Nathan.

I recall trying to get accepted by them several months ago but was rejected.

Thanks for the reminder. I think I'll try them again.

Well, the system is really great, but you have to have really top quality content and your site has to look really good when they go to check it out. I'm actually slightly surprised that I got accepted. I guess that book reviews are more popular than I expected.

My blog is also on Blogburst, I just started with them a couple of months ago, had some trouble with my feeds, and finally got that straight, and now they are happy again. I haven't been there for a while to check it out and see what is going on.. I should check up on that..Thanks for the reminder!
