125 Exchange - An experiment

I just found an interesting ad exchange network, at:

125 Exchange = Free Links with Other Blogs

The thing about it is that it pays you for the clicks out from your site. Its not Entrecard but similar. Anyway, I'm going to try it. Has anyone else here tried out 125 Exchange? If not I'll just keep you all posted about the results I get, or don't get.

What I find interesting about this system is its basis:

"Keep in mind, this is a traffic exchange, not a traffic gift. You receive two targeted visitors to your blog for every three people that click the ads on your blog. No more, no less. The more you give the more you receive. Initially, your ad will be shown 5,000 times on other member blogs around the world. Depending solely on the quality of your ad, the 5,000 impressions should get you a lot of visitors to your blog. After that, the system stabilizes at the 2 for 3 ratio."

I'm really interested in this because of the natural progression:

Blogrush showed post links but delivered little to no traffic,
Entrecard delivers lots of traffic, but most of it is click through from people trying to get credits.
125 Exchange, though, promises to deliver targeted traffic because you earn visits by delivering quality visits.

Since my blog gets about 130-150 visitors a day I can probably deliver a number of visitors to other blogs through the system, which will earn me a few quality ad credits in the system. In addition, that 5000 ad impressions through the system are bound to give me a boost, at any rate.

If the system is worthless then I'll just wait until the 5000 ad impressions runs out and then take it off. In the meantime I'll enjoy a little more traffic.

I had heard about this system awhile back, signed up, but never did put it to use and right now I don't remember why I didn't. I will be curious to see some feedback from users.

Ok, I didn't use this because it use's an IFrame and they cause to many problems.

I tried it but had many problems. Ads didn't get uploaded properly and many other Control Pannel problems.

yeppers, it plays heck with wordpress and after the last ordeal I encountered that involved an IFrame...I swore I would never again use anything that involved an IFrame.

So far I haven't experienced any problems. Probably this is because I use Blogger and it can handle iframes better. I don't understand why iframes were messing up your blog because Entrecard uses iframes too.

I agree that the control panel is not very clean and difficult to use. It took me a little while to figure out how to get my ad uploaded and set up. The site could do with a rework but so far it seems to be operating fairly well.
