Hi Everyone, I purchased a new shopping blog. It is a very customized one and I have a question about affiliate linking. I have a lot of programs and I am trying to use some of them. I cannot upload the click through banner photos, because on my site all photos are to the left and with the click through banners it is centered and throws the whole site off. When I try to do a link to the image I am uploading, because of the <a href it just brings me back to my site. So here is my question. Can I upload a product to my site and then when it comes time to put the url in, put http://www.perpetualkid.com/neato00876 (or whatever my affiliate code is) and get the affiliate credit? Thanks so much, A.J. NeatoStuff.com : a shopping and gift ideas blog |

You should be able to get credit as long as that link is one provided by your network. The clickthrough from that link should send them to the site to make a purchase or whatever AND should credit you since it's your link. Make sense?

The link is the part that matters the most. You can take the url that amazon gives you and link whatever you want with the destination url being your affiliate link. Using page redirects are even better so your affiliate link looks like http://www.perpetualkid.com/go/2 or something better than http://www.amazon.com/adfj234234 whatever.
