Mamimum number of Affiliates on a Blog?

What is maximum number of Affiliates recommended on a blog? I read that 10 is the limit

It all depends on how you use them and the scope of your blog. Ultimately you want a few networks so for whatever reason if you get shut down by one your ok. (That's if you're doing lot's of stuff).

I think if it's banners on the side 10 is way to much; much lower would be better. If it's just people you work with and incorporate the links in your bloggeries (blog posts) then work with however many you can is what I'd say.
