Default Advertising Campaign at Stumble Upon and Sponsor

Started a new advertising campaign at Stumble Upon today. Decided to spend some time today looking into all its facets and still confused.

Deposited $25 into the campaign; $5 a day max.

Well I left the screen came back and my 5$ was gone. Yes it happened that fast. I advertised my forums and the main page of our website.

StumbleUpon » Blogs Websites
StumbleUpon » Weblogs Websites
StumbleUpon » Forums Websites

I went there and never saw my ad anywhere. Does anyone have any experience with this? Where does my site show up lol. Great site just I'm not grasping it 100%.

Furthermore what benefits besides "SPONSORED" in green do I get for a $10 annual donation? I thought I"d get that green button after starting a campaign.

If anyone could shed some light would be appreciated. Time to go check and see if anything came from this "experiment"

You are not likely to see your page on those index pages unless it becomes popular. The $5 you paid gives you 100 impressions which is automatically delivered when a user clicks on the Stumble button.

You can verify it by reviewing your web site log file.

You can also check to see if anyone has thumb up or reviewed your site by going to your review page (i.e. http://www.stumbleupon.com/url/www.bloggeries.com/blog/)

Hope this helps.

Thanks Zedrick definitely helps clear things up. So in other words if you want on the index pages you need to get alot of people stumbling your site. I saw it as "featured" meaning I thought you had to pay. That's good to know. Thanks for joining the forum as well!

Show Off Your Blog! (55 Viewing)
Get free exposure and a backlink to your blog. Link back to your blog and show us what you got!

Just the forum wasn't working so I thought instead of that why not bring them to a page that gives the browser something of value. Who doesn't like FREE Exposure?

Edit:

Traffic was delivered promptly once again; lightening fast actually. Once it was done no one had signed up immediately however up to 45 minutes later I do have a higher # of guests that are online right now viewing the forum or one of its posts. I'll wait until tomorrow and see if anything materializes. I'll try a few more tests however and see what it's all about.

Default Stumble Upon Advertising Campaign Results

So no new members from StumbleUpon Advertising Campaign to join the forum that I am aware of.

$25 went super fast; not all was lost. I do know if I am to use this medium again it's got to be for some different content and lots of people were exposed to the site so who knows maybe alot of repeat and maybe a few signups to the forum. Only time will tell but I think this is best used for new unique items or sites.
