I totally agree with content is king. Without good content it is so difficult to get readers to come back. That said, great content can mean many things to many people but I do think there are some fundamental common traits.

Great tips for sure. But, you could be a prize winning journalist, and if no one sees you, it's all for nothing. Create links. That's what drives traffic to you.

I like this list and am printing it out tonight. I think having a light-hearted approach is a super-great idea, as is making lists of great links and sites. I have only tried a promotion once, and didn't get much response. But maybe I need to try that again.
