Default Re: 5 sure ways to get links!

I've heard of people writing to a particular site, which they feel that their link will add value to, and request to have their link added.

Default Try Memes, Contests and Carnivals

Participating in Memes, Contests and Carnivals can be great. I found putting up a small prize for someone else's contest, particularly when it is a contest where they are asked to put up a post including all of the links to contest sponsors, is a good way to get back links.

Honestly, do people really read 3,000 word post? I want the info quick and to the point. Maybe, its more personal preference.

#1 is my choice. Interesting ideas. I might incorporate all of them!

good advice - although I would say that looking for good ranked sites and enquiring about linking to your site would be a positive bit of advice as well!

Its not that people want 3,000 word articles and that is not what the originally poster said. They simply were trying to get across the idea that whatever is posted needs to provide something worth reading. In most cases 200 words just does not cut it. Now 3,000 is more of an essay than it is a blog post.

I have 16 blogs and 14 of them made publicly. I never run out of ideas.

You can check my profile and check some blogs from it to get ideas but be careful about plagiarism. I believe that would be good starter for you to open your mind about many possible topics that could catch your interest. Just get ideas from it : Crazyhorse Profile

A short article but has strong thoughts and interesting is more worth reading than of having thousands of words but without sense.
