That being said you also have to look at the industry you are in. For instance Celebrity Gossip Blogs they need to be updated daily; often times 3-5 times a day. If you write a personal blog and another blog that you can update weekly or less then it's no big deal. Just don't bite off more than you can chew or you'll burnout only to revisit this when you could of had an awesome blog...
