Default Advice on how to generate more readers?

Hi,

I've been running a blog for about 4 months now and am just wondering what I can do to generate more readers/hits per day?

Many thanks!

Read the forum. There is plenty of information here that you can learn from. Use search engines. By typing keywords into them you can find useful information

I think traffic and readership increases only when the blog has a good PR. Till then it's only a struggle.

That is definitely not true. On all my blogs I have gained tons of "readers" AND "Traffic" without a PR... well, now a majority of my blogs are like PR3-PR4 but my newest blog has been getting hundreds, sometimes thousands of uniques each day and I'm slowly building my readership with my RSS Feed subscribers... and yes, all without a PR...

I love it when threads like this are asked by someone with no intention of coming back (single tear).

Oh well others will find this and it is useful. If you want subscribers give them a real voice. You know when you're writing and you're like oh no better not say that might offend someone... If you aren't authentic and genuine you'll interest no one.

I have lot's of friends but have also run into many people that simply don't like my style both online and offline. Do I care? Do I look for what their motivations are? Do I care? no. Just be yourself online say what's on your mind and write what you're passionate about. If you're an interesting REAL person people will want to hear more..

Take risks be yourself live your life!

No, I think it's funny that people ask the same questions and I offer to help people individually and people don't take advantage of it...

That is weird maybe they think it's a scam? Everyone is so scam sensitive these days that no one takes chances. Meeting new people and a scam are totally diff. That's pessimistic.

Most people just aren't motivated so they write a frustrated I hate my blogging life post for sympathy or genuine instruction but then when they hear what you hve to do say OMG that's too much this will never work and go back to their everyday grind.

Results take effort people!
