What do you use to get your traffic info? Google Analytics never works for me. No idea why.

Are there any good plugins/programs you would recommend?

I've always used analytics for that; any reason why you can't get it working? Should be fixable for sure. It's weird though how analytics, statcounter and aw-stats give diff results

I dont think that its only after the google pr, traffic starts.. i had enough before and thats how i had shot straight to a pr4! you need plenty of traffic to get a pr..

Google Analytics works great! Across all of my sites, Google is by far the #1 referrer. I've had some Stumble spikes, but day in and day out is is search that brings me the traffic. Given how I have setup my sites, though, that is not surprising.

In my opinion you cannot depend upon one traffic stream,
you have to keep on testing various ways and see which
gets the best results.

Traffic-&-PR is chicken-&-egg which comes first ... I prefer to think that content brings traffic & PR...

Google search is #1 for me too, as far as relevant traffic is concerned.
With that amount of information available out there in the Internet, it's natural for a search engine to be the main traffic source for most of the cases.

Diggs and stumbles may beat the search sometimes, but that kind of traffic is rubbish in terms of bounce rates.

Google is #1 for me too. I have some steady referrals from sites related to the subject of my blog too.

I have been wondering how much traffic people generally get from Yahoo and MSN. I don't get very much but I get a lot of traffic from Google.
