Does entrecard really help?

I still have like 17,000 I just totally lost interest in it. Remember in like February when EVERYONE joined it helped this forum explode but then it just stopped and I saw the same droppers. I should look into advertising again though w/ my creds.

So ya how much did get that bundle for?

You might be right jay but you have to remember my target market is bloggers.

This is my prime meat market for bloggers it's simply heaven!

To answer both you and bloggeries you pay normally 80 usd or 90 usd for 60,000 on the right day but I bought before the initial IPO or the entrecard credit!

The thing about Entrecard is that it will help bloggers in certain niches more than other. If you blog about tech stuff/blogging/mmo, you tend to get more out of it since most of the bloggers will find that stuff interesting. But if you maintain a personal blog or something like that, not everyone would be interested in reading everything you have to say..

Really? Well, I know a TON of people in those niches that eventually drop their widgets... most recently, Tyler Cruz and his blog is pretty big.

The problem is in the core of the system, that it is rewarding for dropping, and not for creating content. Some attempts to change that were done by having a partnership with SezWho commenting system, but that will not change the main idea: dropping for credits.

It might be the perfect advertising instrument for cheaters and sploggers, but not for me.

If your blog is totally new then yeah EntreCard is worth it. But as your blog starts to get more established, EntreCard won't be worth much anymore. The bounce rate is high because users who come from EntreCard aren't really looking for anything specific, just to drop a card.

And of course your niche also effects how much you get from EntreCard...

Even though I'm sure my bounce rate is high via Entrecard referrals, if I get a couple of new real readers a week it is worth the space the widget takes up.
