I need to promote my blog and want 10000 visitors per day on my blog.
I know only one technique that is of submitting blog to blog directories. please tell me the other techniques how to promote blog

Ok, there are a few ways. You need to get the search engines to believe that you are a credible source. The only way you do that is by getting "votes" from credible sources. Lots of blogger's don't do enough link building etc. As a result I made a new category called web directory promotion in my blogger resourceos section of the directory. Basically I'd submit to my site Bloggeries.com w/ a reciprocal for 15$ or just suck it up for 15$ more with NO reciprocal and 3 extra backlinks. Then I' d submit to a few free ones that are smaller less organized.

Then I'd check out that category I gave you and submit to 3-4 of them.

Then I'd comment on relevant blogs particularily ones that get lots of traffic and activity. Make good relevant comments. (If not your sp@mming and wasting everyone's time).

Then I'd work on doing a blogroll link exchange with similar websites and of course lots of forum posting with your link in the signature.

10,000 a day is a lofty goal but possible. Just keep it real and if you can't write enough pay someone. (Seriously).

To get 10K visitors per day you should have articles for the topics that have so hughe interest. So as first step I would recommend to study keyword searches from KeywordDiscover.com for example. Then start to work with SEO tricks as hell and its possible to get yourself to the top position in serach engines if your KEI (keyword efficency index) is OK. So, it all starts with finding appropriate keywords to your blog.

Hold a contest and give something away. In order for the person to have an entry they need to write about your blog on their blog. Give away an ipod or gift card.
Once you have the contest information up on your blog go to

i find writing articles on the topic(s) that you're blogging about and submitting them to article directories with a link to your blog will generate a good amount of long-term traffic. it does take a little work and you need to be consistent, but you can generate massive amounts of traffic over time with just articles alone.
