I am not sure if you guys know the BloggingExperiment "story", but I just wanted to pass along the blog as a good resource. I posted about it on my blog:
BloggingExperiment.com is VERY Good Reading Material | Sukosaki.info I like the blog and have read some very nice posts there. Max Davis (the new owner) offers up some information that I have never thought about. He is up to some case study that he will publish soon. Selling his template alone he makes $x,xxx per month. It's quite amazing the angles that you get to read about. Very open and informative. Take a look if you have a minute, you'll have to subscribe without any doubt.
