New method of promoting your blog with Scoutle.com

This week silently a new website called 'Scoutle' has been launched in Beta at Scoutle.com - Social Networking for Bloggers and Personal Websites - Homepage
Sign up process is open for Early Adopters test.

Scoutle gives you personal webcrawlers to not only find interesting blogs for you, but helps you promote your own blog to an (only) interested crowd as well.


We all want traffic to our blog but it is far more relevant to have more interested visitors.

Where is your Stage?

Absolutely... This is a very new network and needs to grow in order to provide good meetings. OwenCutajar, your website for instance, is doing very well. This means almost all current Scouts run over your website.

More features are about to be installed, but first Scoutle needs Scouts... To connect and walk around. So invite your friends I'd say. Not only will you be able to compare websites/blogs of your friends this way (who has the best appreciated site?) but will help increase the network so you can promote your own website even better.

Anyway, although Scoutle still runs Beta and is about two days old now... currently it works the way it should!

I've put two of my blogs on Scoutle to try it out - there's something about the idea that feels sort of 'fresh' and appeals to me. Obviously, the database of blogs on there will have to get larger before it starts to make good matches, but I suspect that this could grow quickly once it reaches a 'critical mass'... I really really hate sidebar widgets and normally avoid them like the plague, but Scoutle seemed worth exploring and giving it a chance. I'd be interested to hear other people's impressions...

I just tried it today but I was not so happy to test this since it is a waste of time to active it. I know you may have some rules to active it. But it will bore the persons for a so young network.
