Has anyone tried promoting their blog using Youtube? I would like to know if you saw a huge spike in your traffic and how did you use the videos to link back to your blog?

Darren Rowse had a post on his blog in early April asking for people to make a video of "Why I Blog". He posted the "Video Mashup" of all 35 videos that were submitted.

Why Bloggers Blog - [VIDEO MASHUP]

My video is the 10th one down with the blue background!

It is on YouTube which generated over 400 page views.

I think this is an amazing way to generate traffic! But don't forget to drop your url a few times in the video!

I might try this soon for blogengage
