Default A nice way to get some action on your blog
A while back a Norwegian newspaper started to allow people to link to their blogs from various stories on their site. They use something called twingly.

What happens is that you write something related to the story on your blog and then add a link to the news story. And then ping twingly. Voila you have a link to your blog.
I have tested this with various small articles and has gotten quite the action over at my blog. Rmtexposed

This is for the most part something I am testing out. But for those that can write something really good they can get lots of traffic from it.

Right now twingly is for the most part only available in Scandinavian countries. But I predict that this is something that will follow in other countries as well.

CNN has something similar that is powered by Sphere. I wrote about some news once, linking to one of their articles, my post appeared below their article and I got quite a lot of hits from it.

I'm not familiar with Twingly. Thanks for the heads up, I shall check them out. I have heard of Sphere and was going to give it a whirl a little while back, but forgot. Oops Thanks for the reminder!

Twingly would appear to be something that I am sure will catch on worldwide. Definitely one to watch out for.

Two days ago Sphere and WordPress.com announced that they will add the Sphere service to all WordPress.com blogs. Pretty nice.
And for all of you selfhosted WordPress users, there is a plugin you can download and install instead...
