Hits Went Down!

My blog (Pariah's Guild: This Is Where You Press Start!) received like 1000 hits per day, but now it receives 400 hits! Did I like get banned from Google or something?

Unsure, have you got your stats package set up? Where were visitors coming from beforehand and where are they coming from now?

Yes, you'd need to look at what was in the stats to be able to get that answer. How long were you getting 1,000 a day for, for example? A short time, a long time? And are the places they were coming from still live? Perhaps you were getting them from another blog or blogs that are no longer active.

March 1st I recieved 1000 hits, then it started to go down March 21st with 500 hits, then it started to decrease fromt here on. Yesterday I recieved 400 hits

Have you made any changes in what you're doing? Like were you stumbling and digging a lot, and then slacked off? Or did you submit to lots of directories/exchanges, and then not continue with your marketing efforts?

It's only a daily thing -- once you check where your links are coming from you should be able to identify something different you did. Like an interesting post, a link to your blog etc - like what some of the otehrs have specified up there!

I'm curious to know too!

I did link swap and add the blog to alot of blog directories before March 19th. Then I focused on Hyper Tech Ninja

i have the same thing, i had a average of 10/20 unique visitors a day, but the last 3 days 0 page (according to stacounter.com and google anylistics) i dont understand what happend

On the upper right side of your blog I see an error message "Code corrupted. Insert fresh copy." I don't know if that affected your traffic but maybe the spiders didn't like it.

You need to discern if your 1000 hits came from referring links or keywords. Then you can sort this out a little easier.
