How about Sitehoppin for traffic. I have some good results with it so far and when the FF toolbar comes out site traffic will surly increase.

I just posted this in another forum here at bloggeries, but yes, sitehoppin.com does send me traffic, around 20 visitors or so a day.

The way I look at it, people really have very little extra time in their lives, and the competition for eyeball time is furious on the web. A smaller and smaller number of websites are getting a greater and greater proportion of people's time and money. It's very difficult to build a following on the Web, so don't get frustrated. You may hit on the right formula, and you may not. Just like any other endeavor in life.

Rich, I absolutely agree with your points. I also read a statistic that says your visitors today most likely wont be your visitors 6 months from now.

Yes, this is very true. I have about 20 feeds that I monitor on my Google Feeds, and I haven't visited any of them in the last three weeks, simply because I do not have the time. I think that once I find the information that I need, I move on, since my interests change. There are very, very few discretionary things that I do on a regular basis in my life. Visiting blogs and websites in general are discretionary.

Right now, I am in the midst of evaluating a new approach for my blog, for business reason, so I am spending much more time visiting blog forums, and less time evaluating scripts and CMSs, which is what I was doing during the past two months. Thus, as my attention turns to this new endeavor, it affects the way I apportion my time on different forums and blogs.

Add some meta tags and maybe use some images in your posts.
