Default Getting an article noticed

So I just spent the best course of 3 days writing an article for my blog, it's pretty long and is on Kevin Smith.

My question is what's the best way to get an article noticed? I think it's a decent article that I spent a bit of time on and dont want it all to be for nothing.

Is there places I can submit to or something? Do you ever feel like what you think is a good piece on your blog goes un-noticed?

Submit it to social media sites like Digg, Delicious and StumbleUpon. They should get you some traffic in no time. Of course, the more you participate in these sites, the results will be better.

Yes, try a bunch of social media sites, see a list at The Potential Traffic from Various Social Media Sites | Blogging Tips & Custom Banner Designs at DatMoney.com

But also, you want to hit the social networking sites too... Blogcatalog, mybloglog, myspace, etc...

Sounds good. I typically submit my articles to eZineArticles.com , and then some blogging communities like blogengage or bloglines. I would suggest checking out some of those websites, and yes, search google for some free article submission websites.

I would not recommend free article submissions because after using the same articles over many article directories it will lead to removing all those articles from google database. Hence its not at all worth. I would suggest you to rewrite that articles and then submit to top 10 article directories. It would be nice.

Thanks for the replies

Yeah, I don't really want to submit to article sites because of the duplicate content problem I could run into.
