I use only one article directory and that would be Ezinearticles due to its traffic and good search engine placement for my articles once it was indexed by Google, which will bring me incredible amount of long tail traffic if I managed to get the article into the first page of some popular keywords.

For those who are not meeting success with article marketing, it might be the dullness of your resource box. Another thing about article marketing is that it is more than just targeting the traffic that you will get right after the articles are being published. For me, I am targeting indirect search engine traffic as with a PR6, Ezinearticles can surely rank better in search engines compared to my sites.

I checked out ezine I think it is my favorite so far. You can only submit ten articles and if your articles well suck then you can't submit anymore but if they are good then they will change you to platinum status and let you do more.

Well, this is part of their quality control and in fact, most article directories will have such system whereby they prevent on the best stuffs to get into their database.

If your article sucks or got rejected, try to edit it according to the reasons given. If you just can't get things right, maybe article marketing does not suits you. However, I would say that everyone who can write up a readable article can do article marketing.
